The goodies have landed
A little bit of inconsistency with my blogging at the moment, you don’t hear from me for days and then you get two lots in two days. Well, sorry, but I couldn’t resist showing the new set of threads that have just landed to add to my ever growing stock. Well, you can’t have too many can you! Here they are in all their glory. Lush colours aren’t they?
Oh and I’ve finished playing on the Linus quilt. Didn’t want to put too heavy a background fill on this one to take away from the hearts. I hope you like this one. Here it is ready for trimming and binding.
And the fairies quilt flew home today to its owner who was very pleased with the result and has been showing of the photos of it half done at work. Now its finished and ready for binding, so when that is done she is going to take it in and show it off properly. It gives me a real buzz when customers love what I have done to their quilts. I received a lovely letter today from another customer saying I had turned a lovely quilt into a work or art. How nice is that. I love it, – makes you feel all warm and gooey inside.
